Ingredients:
— 1/2 cup rolled oats
— 1 cup water or milk
— 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
— 1/4 tsp cinnamon
— Pinch of salt
— 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
— Chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the oats, water or milk, blueberries, cinnamon and salt.
2. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oatmeal has thickened and the blueberries have softened.
3. Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup, if desired.
4. Transfer to a bowl and top with chopped nuts or seeds, if desired.
5. Serve hot and enjoy!
