Ingredients:
— 1 pound ground beef
— 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
— 1/2 cup diced onion
— 1/4 cup milk
— 1 egg
— 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
— 1 teaspoon salt
— 1 teaspoon black pepper
— 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
— 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, blueberries, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well with your hands.
3. Form the mixture into 12-14 meatballs, about 1 1/2 tablespoons each.
4. Place the meatballs on a non-stick baking sheet or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
6. Remove the meatballs from the oven and brush them with BBQ sauce.
7. Place the meatballs back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
8. Serve hot on a bed of rice or with a side of veggies.
